He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McFarland and Helen McFarland (Wiles); his brother James Stewart; and also Barbara McFarland (Lewendowski). He is survived by: his children, Kirk McFarland, Gerri Lee and Eric McFarland; his grandson Ian Lee; and his siblings, Jane Stivason, Harriet Faith, Vern McFarland and Ronald McFarland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
