He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald A. Lavelle and Norma A. Wilcox (Linnert). He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Lavelle (Struss); his children, Gerald S. "JJ" Lavelle, Jr. (Noelle) of Portersville and Chelsea Fish (David) of Saxonburg; his grandchildren, Olivia, Heidi, Dax, Josh, Ethan, Ashton, Connor and Colter; and his siblings, Jackie Schohn (Chris), Donna Leach-Stark of Carrick, Raymond Leach of Carrick, Carrie Charles and Wayne Wilcox of West Mifflin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Church (910 N Croton Ave, New Castle, PA 16101).
