He was predeceased by: his former wife Elaine Lee Neely (Hess); his wife Judith Neely (Phipps); and his siblings, Bill, Rick, Jack, Jim Neely, Shirley Kaulfold and Joyce Houk Thomas.
He is survived by: his pet Star; his children, Gerald H. Neely, Jr. (Karen) of New Castle, Jeffrey A. Neely (Sharon) of Erie, PA, Blanche M. Stalnecker of New Castle, Renee L. Durst (Frank) of New Castle and Thomas G. Neely (Lori) of New Castle; and his stepchildren, Carol Edwards (Doug), Michelle Eckman (Greg) and Pete Giancola. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
