He was predeceased by: his parents, Frasin A. Mitrea and Anna E. Mitrea (Nicholas); and his sister Evelyn A. Reed (Jim). He is survived by: his siblings, Paul D. Mitrea (Carol) of Harlansburg, PA, Jerry R. Mitrea of Fort Worth, Texas and Lorraine "Lori" Cameron of New Castle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In celebration of his life, donations may be made to the Fresenius Dialysis Center of New Castle.
