Frances T. Cantakis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances T. Cantakis of New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Frances shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Frances farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bohn and Marie Schonegg Bohn; her husband Gust Cantakis; and her siblings, Joseph Bohn, Paul E. Bohn and Marie Ann Slavik.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Linette Cantakis), Mark Cantakis, Christopher "Andy" (Valerie Cantakis), Georgette (William Seiling) and Connie (Alan Czambel). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three nieces.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kimisis TIS Theotokou Church (2111 Davidson St, Aliquippa, PA 15001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
