We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024, at the age of 88, Esther O. D'Aurio of New Castle, Pennsylvania, born in Fairview, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Esther is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Esther's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Miller and Esther Miller (Cumberland); and her son Raymond Thompson. She is survived by: her husband John Lee D'Aurio, Jr. of New Castle; her son Rick Thompson of Bruin, PA; her stepchildren, Beth Ann Knight (Jeff) of New Castle, Jessica Wilcox (Ryan) of Butler and John D'Aurio (Christine) of New Castle; and her sisters, Gloria Sweeney of Petrolia, PA and DeDe King of Parker, PA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren.
