He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia E. Soisson (Coyle); his son Brian Soisson; and his siblings, William and Jean. He is survived by: his children, Scott Soisson (Jennifer), Kimberly Closuit (Aaron) and Jonathan Soisson (late Ashley); his grandchildren, Lt. Evan Soisson, Ryan Soisson, Maya Soisson, Aden Trauterman, Clara Closuit, Jay Trauterman, Gracie Closuit, Layla Closuit, Axel Closuit, Zachery Douglas Soisson, Nathan Scott Soisson, Lauren Marie Soisson, Alison Grace Soisson and Megan Ashley Soisson; and his brother-in-law Edward "Stu" Coyle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. D. Copeland, Ltd. (867 5th Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108). A prayer was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (1304 4th Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Veterans' Trust Fund through the PA Dept. of Military Affairs.
