It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David P. Fray of New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping David's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Fray and Louise Delin Fray. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones; his children, Mary Jane Carbone (Chris), Lisa Boston (Greg) and Anthony L. Freed; his sister Elaine Gliddden; and his grandchildren, Greg, Jr., Melissa, Alyssa, Anthony and Daisy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
