She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shiderly and Erma Shiderly (Harman); her husband William Mateer; her daughters, Carol Seinkner and Kathy Alley; her brothers, Francis and Kenneth Shiderly; her grandchildren, Chuckie Taylor Jr. and Jesse Alley Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Layden and Makenzie Hooks.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Smith; her siblings, Wanda Lawrence, Glen, Carl and Eugene Shiderly; her grandchildren, Jodylynn Taylor (Richard Lutz), Carrie Kuhn (John), KathyJo Peterson (Earl Snyder) and Gary Alley (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Scott, Brandon Hooks, Tyler, Brady Kline, Hailee, Nicholas Alley, John Peterson Jr., Braden, Dakota, Tristian, Grantlee and Naomi Alley; and her great great grandchildren, Sierra Hooks, Sophia and Amariana Peterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
