We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 97, Concetta J. Hvizdak of New Castle, Pennsylvania, born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni "John" LaVolpe and Lucia LaVolpe (Pezenti); her husband William C. Hvizdak; her son John David Hvizdak; her granddaughter Katherine "Katie" Hvizdak; her siblings, Mary, Carmella, Antoinette, Yolonda and Carl; and her daughter-in-law LeeAnn Hvizdak.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Hvizdak, New, Dennis Hvizdak (Karen) of Cartersville, GA, Richard Hvizdak of Pittsburgh, PA, Perry Hvizdak of Edinburg, PA and Rodney Hvizdak (Renee) of Woodstock, GA; and her sisters, Eleanor Cushing of Georgia and Jenny Sweeney of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
