He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola M. Hooks and Carl Boyd Hooks Sr.; his daughter-in-law Kimberli Scrim-Hooks; and his brother Edward Leroy Hooks. He is survived by: his spouse Velvet Hooks (Smith); his children, Robert C. Hooks of Shenango Township and Amy Kunst (Bill) of Butler, PA; his grandchildren, Megan Kunst (Matt Ordille) of Catonsville, MD, Rob Kunst (Emily) of New York, Jenna Kunst (Aaron Smith) of Erie, PA, Grason Hooks and Talen Hooks of Shenango Township; and his great grandchild Leo Ordille.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Kimberli Scrim- Hooks Foundation.
