She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Betts; her son Gayle Betts (Carol); her grandson Fred Betts; and her siblings, Theresa Williams, Laura Williams, Ann Long (David), Selena Helen Flaugher, Erma Bernadina (Eugene), Steve Williams (Katherine) and John Williams (Rena).
She is survived by: her children, Laura McKitrick (Ed) of Charlotte, NC, Theresa Betts of Charlotte, NC, Lynda Betts of DuBois, PA and Robert Marc Betts (Andrea) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Marc Betts (Leslie), Tony Betts, Kevin Betts, Rodney Betts (Erin), Steven Betts (Jaime), Robert Betts, Michael Betts (Danielle), Theresa Betts, Eugene Hoover (Christen) and Shanna Fulk (David); and her brother-in-law Ralph Flaugher. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
She had a fondness for holidays and annually crafted decorations for more than 20 Christmas Trees for charity.
