He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Hertzog and Myrtle "Jeanie" Hertzog (Wilhelm); and his pet Spike. He is survived by: his daughters, Jade Hertzog (Charlie Rogers) and Lydia Zagorski (Mike); his stepdaughter Caitlin Caratelli; his stepgrandson Leo Caratelli; and his significant other Beth Edgell. He is also survived by 4 sisters.
In addition, he loved nothing better than being able to ride with motorcycle clubs, raising charity benefits for local residents and foundations.
