It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Barnes Sr. (New Brighton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnes and Blanche Barnes; his wife Marcella; his parents-in-law, Charles and Syvilla Jolley; his brothers, Robert (Rabbits) and Jack; and his sister-in-law Claudette Jolley.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Frank (Bob); his grandchildren, Joseph, Kristin, Jacob Barnes, Merissa O'Reilly (Sean) and Emily Frank (Jay); his stepgranddaughter Sandra Wakeley; his stepgreat-granddaughter Audrey Wakeley; and his sisters, Janet Felo and Carole Kirschler.
The family asks that guests wear masks during the visitation and service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
