Walter E. Clayton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2023, at the age of 94, Walter E. Clayton (New Brighton, Pennsylvania), born in Alliance, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clayton and Agnes Clayton (Faulds); and his siblings, Ruth Newell, June McKelvey, Dorothy Neal Peretic, Harry and Melvin Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Dian Lagud (Jim), Harry Clayton (Lisa) and Paul Clayton (Sharon); his stepson David Watson (Wendy); his grandchildren, David Shane Clayton, Cheryl Harris (Josh), Daniel Clayton and Stephen Lagud; his great grandchildren, Grace, Elijah, Lydia, Peter, Josiah, Gabriel Clayton, Toby and Gabe Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Doris and Lon Hogue. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, and nine step great-grandchildren.
Wally loved to volunteer (until his health held him back when he was 88) with RSVP and was named "Volunteer of the Year" in 2010.
