She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bork and Velma Bork (Miller); her siblings, Madelyne Futato (Alex), Betty Goehring (Richard), Edith Anne Pavlinich (George), Lois Elaine, Walter Bork (Sonny) and Dick Bork; and her granddaughter Dawn Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Kitty Wasko) of Franklin Township, Bruce (Katrina Patton) of Beaver and Susan Murphy (Patrick) of Mayville; her brother Donald Bork (Jean) of Bryan, Texas; and her grandchildren, Melanie Robb (Gavin), Daniel Woodske (Kimberly Stanczak), Dr. Matthew Woodske (Heather Uslenghi), Ryan Woodske (Diana Abate), Hannah Glynn (Matthew) and Michael Murphy (Michele Freitag). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts may be made in Virginia's name to the Memorial Gifts Fund of her church.
