It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Edwards (New Brighton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ian Bowie and Jean Bowie (Dyson); and her brother Fred Bowie (Hilda) of Spring Hill, FL.. She is survived by: her husband J. William "Bill" Edwards of New Brighton; her children, Debbie Prazenica of Sarver, PA, Nancy Vendemia of Beaver, PA, John Edwards of Metairie, LA and David Edwards; and her grandchildren, Megan Prazenica (Kelsey Kazsas) of Los Angeles, CA, Kristen Prazenica, NJ, Greg Vendemia, Carly Vendemia and Ensign Blake Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to local efforts to combat the coronavirus or any dementia research charity, such as the Dementia Society of America.
