Rosetta Valdata Valdata Obituary
Rosetta Valdata (nee Simone), a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died on July 13, 2017. She was born in Bari, Italy, on Aug. 16, 1920, before moving to New Brighton as a child. Rosetta was the matriarch of her family and a lifetime parishioner of St. Paul's Church. She retired in 1993 and enjoyed her retirement to the fullest.
Rosetta enjoyed cooking, knitting, cruises, and taking trips to Atlantic City, N.J. Her greatest enjoyment was her love of family. Rosetta was predeceased by her husband, Alfred, and son, Gregory. She is survived by her children, Joan Creamer (Richard), Daniel, and Alfred; grandchildren, Danielle Creamer (Jason Theurer), Gregory Creamer (CarolLynn), and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Kayla Rose Theurer.
Visitation will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass will be at St. Peter's Church at 11 a.m. on July 17, with burial at St. Peter's Cemetery.
