He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul S. Balik and Ann Balik (Smieska); his wife Lila Balik (Slyman); and his siblings, Anna Mae Hardy and Charles Balik.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary (Alan Funovits), Amy (Scott Miller) and Paula Balik (Rene Menard); his grandchildren, Paul S., Chelsea Balik, Andrew, Philip Funovits and Sam Miller; his sisters-in-law, Vivian Ginand and Patti Modany; and his sister Viola Babo.
