He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Spickerman and Jennes E. Spickerman (Caley); his wife Jean Spickerman (Hodgkinson); and his brother Paul Spickerman. He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen; his son-in-law Warren Smith of Middleton, PA; his sons, Merle D. Spickerman, William M. Spickerman (Sandy) and Matthew (Joni Spickerman); his grandchildren, Will, Adam (Megan), Andrew, Nathan, Micah, Arin, Jacob (Christina) and Rachel (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth, Clara, Eugene and Brent; his brother Ralph Spickerman; his nieces, Sue and Trisha Spickeran; and also Mary Corliss.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in his name to the church or Grane Hospice, 260 Alpha Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
