It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Thompson of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Francis and Mary Altsman; her husband Herbert S. Thompson; her son William M. Thomas; her grandson Billy K. Thomas; and her siblings, Henry, Earl, William, James, Dorothy Fleisher and Laura Osman.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert R. Thompson (Mary), David J. Thompson (Tracey), Dawn Frances Boyd (Richard) of Auburn, IN, Laura Rubino (Michael) and Mary Ann Oster of Mt Airy, MD; and her daughter-in-law Karen Thomas (Patterson Twp). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the wish memorials be made in her name to the New Brighton United Methodist Church.
