She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lockrouit and Isabell Lockrouit (Wilson); and her sons, Paul R. Schaffer, Jr. and Randy Schaffer. She is survived by: her husband John Usselman; her stepdaughter Karen Souffrant (Wayne); and her brothers, Thomas Lockrouit and James Yahn (Gail).
