He was predeceased by: his parent Dwight M.; his son John; and his former wives, Sally Rose Shawger (Basar) and Kathleen Shawger (Kraus). He is survived by: his parent Katherine Shawger (Davis); his wife Ruth Shawger (McMichael); his children, Jacci Culver of Minot, N. D., Randy Shawger (Patricia) of Georgetown, Jeffrey Shawger, Monaca Shawger, Chris Shawger (Shari) and Conway; and his stepdaughters, Cathy Peebles (Gary), Chippewa Twp and Susan Smith (Jeff). He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made in his name to the Monaca United Methodist Church, 813 Indiana Ave., Monaca, PA 15061.
