She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pagani and Margaret Pagani (Gaz); her husband John P. Smakosz Sr.; her son John P. Smakosz Jr.; and her siblings, Livio Pagani and Zita Pagani.
She is survived by: her children, Annamarie Pavarnik (Mike) of Hilliard, OH, Nancy Bonetti (Frank) of Boyers, PA and Ted Smakosz (Joanne); her grandchildren, Michael Pivarnik (Tracy), Rachel Loudermilk (Tom), Valerie McMullen (Buddy), Jacob Smakosz (Heather) and Emily Grove (Matt); her great grandchildren, Isabella, Alex, Lucas, Emmarie, Cole, Ivy and Scarlett; her brothers, Badge Pagani (Alice) and Eugene Pagani; and her sister-in-law Barbara Pagani. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to McGuire Memorial, 2119 Mercer Rd., New Brighton, PA 15066.
