We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, at the age of 87, Howard Vern Brown of New Brighton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Brown and Stella Brown; and his sisters, Flora Shaw, Anna Zahn, Eva Cusick and Naomi Elsbury.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown; his siblings, Herbert Brown (Jean) and Estelle "Toots" Measel; his sons, Richard Brown (Cathy) of Canton, OH and James Brown (Terri) of McKinney, TX; and his brothers, Bill Brown, Ken Brown, Jack Brown and Harold "Pete" Brown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concord Church Memorial Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
