He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Price (Chub) and Ada Asberry Price Jones; and his sisters, Minnie Davis (Boyd Davis) and Elizabeth Bullock. He is survived by: his children, June Ann Price, Jamiel Dion Hill (Diane) and Hyden Dwayne Price; his brother Eddie Asberry, Jr. (Nadine); his siblings-in-law, Hylvester Bullock and Christine Asberry; his grandchildren, Bryasia Walker, Davon London, Aundrea London, Jalen Rich Sr. and Janessa Rich; his brother Tommie Lee Price; his nephew Eddie "Frog" Lewis Asberry Jr.; and his niece Yolanda "Puddin" Charles.
