She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd H. Dewhirst and Emma J. Dewhirst (Bork); her husband Walter J. "Flash" Turek; and her brothers, Donald, Floyd, Mike and James Dewhirst.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty McKinnis, Dorothy (Richard Murray) and Jack A.; and her sister-in-law Mary Dewhirst. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
