He is survived by: his siblings, Clara Agnes and Elmer Casper Zahn; his daughter Donna Scherer; his grandchildren, Michael Scherer Jr. (Bobby), Gretchen Scherer and Emerson-Zahn Scherer; and his great grandchildren, Michael Scherer III, Parker Scherer, Anthony Neville, Paige Neville and Hazel Scherer.
