It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward A. Spade (New Brighton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Spade and Gladys Spade (Bard); and his brothers, Marshall and James Spade. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Spade; his son Jason Spade; his sisters, JoAnn Martin (Sid) and Linda Droz (Dave); his siblings-in-law, Larry, Bill, John Kaufman (Kim), Linda Rachuba and Joni Piser; and his cousins, Jim and Dawna Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gabauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (1133 Penn Ave, New Brighton, PA 15066). The military honors was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Felix Church- Our Lady of the Valley (450 13th St, Freedom, PA 15042).
