Dowdy Jr. (Karol), Gerald W. Dowdy (Gaylind), Marcy Garuccio (Dominic) and Valerie Dowdy; his grandchildren, Donald H. Dowdy III (Mara P.), Jeannie Orend, Timothy Dowdy, Erin Geis, Seth Dowdy, Leah Kordecki (Todd), Marissa G. Green (Jason) and Paul Garuccio; his siblings, David Dowdy (Sue) and Louise; and his close friends, Lenny, Margie Murawski, Terry, Sandy Ciccone, Rick Burkihiser and Denny Rodgers.
