He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald, Sr. and Esther; his stepparents, Mary Lou Barnes and Duane Dobbins; his wife Lisa (Shackelford); his children, Timothy, Matthew Barnes and Jordan Guisler (Dan); his stepchildren, Jamie, Teresa and Jessie Shackelford; his grandchildren, Gianna, Natalie, Faith, Gabrielle, Silas and Rayna; his siblings, Barb Macuga (Mark), Donna St John (Jim), Mike Barnes (Dee), Ben Barnes (Angie) and Staci Barnes; his goddaughter Kelly Keefer; and his grandparents, James, Sophie Bertolasio, David and Matilda Barnes. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Donald Barnes to the National Transplant Foundation, 3249 W. Sarazen's Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125.
