David Shields Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2019, at the age of 72, David Shields (New Brighton, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Shields and Tillie Shields (Lekic); and his brother Edward Shields. He is survived by: his wife Janet Shields (Pruszenski); his children, David L. Shields Jr. and Racheal Cattivera (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Bryan of New Brighton, Brennan of New Brighton and Brightyn Cattivera of New Brighton. He is also survived by four brothers; two sisters; many nieces, nephews and their families; and his canine companion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Leukemia Society of America, 333 E. Carson St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
