He was predeceased by: his wife Nora Faye "Snookie" Funk (Hoke); his parents, Clyde A. Funk and Dorothy J. Brawdy; his parents-in-law, Vernon "Duke" and Catherine Hoke (Pritts); his brothers, Dr. Harry Funk, Larry Funk and Paul Funk; and his sister-in-law Gloria Randall.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Funk (Susan) and Amy Espey; his brothers, Jack Funk (Debbie) and Randy Brawdy (LuJuana); his brothers-in-law, Wade Hoke and Dick Randall; his grandchildren, Robert Guidice (Jen), Ryan Guidice and Stephanie Funk; and his great grandchild Greyson Fenstermaker. He is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bob and Snookie's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 600 Waterfront Dr. #210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
