He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Kester (Rex) and Viola Hazel Kester (Hartzell). He is survived by: his wife Hope Kester (Hopple); his children, Shawn Renee Bowser (Shawn Paul) and Erik Kester (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Elijah Bowser, Christiana Bowser and Sadie Kester.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations made to the New Brighton Free Methodist Church to further God's work.
