He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Hoffman Jr. and Carol Sheaffer (Rice); his grandparents, John E. Hoffman Sr. (Vada), Paul M. "Pete" Rice Sr. and Grace I Rice (Hartzell); his uncles, Melvin Hartzell II and Paul "Pete" Rice Jr.; and his pet Buddy.
He is survived by: his half-sister Tanuya Matter (John) of Millerstown; his stepfather William D. Sheaffer; his aunts, Lyndia (Darrell Jones) and Helen Rice (Hoke); his great-aunt Norma Hartzell (Pullen); his uncle Jackie Hoffman "Woody" (Ruth Ann); his nieces, Jenn Foster (Skyler) and Grace Matter; his great-niece Madison Foster; and his cousins, Amber Flint (Hoffman), Joe Hockenberry, Paula Beaston (Dwayne), Jason Jones, Nicole Jones and Patrick Rice.
Due to the unexpected circumstances, the family requests that memorial contributions to help pay for his arrangements be sent to the Boyer Family Funeral Home, W. Main St, New Bloomfield, Pa.
