He is survived by: his wife Melissa Freeland (Way) of Shermans Dale; his children, Nicole DaShiell (Justin) of Shermans Dale and Earl E. Freeland III (Megan) of Enola; his siblings, Calvin Cummings of Alexandria, Jack Freeland of Newport, Holly Billet of Danville, Susan Jefferies of Port Royal and Peggy Shumaker of New Bloomfield; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Emma and Mason DaShiell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
