He is survived by: his parent Juanita Gale Bullock Johnston; his spouse Judy Ann Swartfager; his children, William Allen Johnston, Cindy JoAnn Johnston, Patricia Gale Rearick, Victoria Ann Johnston and Amy Suzanne Johnston; and his siblings, Robert Johnston, James Johnston, Patricia Summerville and Elaine Shoup. He is also survived by grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
