With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Schreckengost (New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania), born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Reed Schreckengost and Adlean Schreckengost (Bolam) of New Bethlehem; his sister June Griffiths (Schreckengost); his brother-in-law Bob of Pittsburgh; his daughters, Vicki Schreckengost and Sherri McQuirk; his siblings-in-law, Eugene Callihan and Ginny Callihan; his niece Barb Miller (Callihan); his sister-in-law Georgie Maxwell; and his nephew Mike Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Schreckengost (Maxwell); his daughter Sandra Haines (Randon) of Strattanville; his granddaughter Kristine Simpson (Rick) of Mayport; his great grandchildren, Morgan Simpson (Cody Olson) of Sligo, Madison, McKenna Simpson of Mayport and Richelle Aaron (Bob); his grandchildren, Audrey and Caitlin Aaron of Summerville; his son William Schreckengost Jr. (Tonya) of Miola; his granddaughter Deanna Smail; his daughter Julie Schaeffer (Mike) of Sligo; his grandchildren, Lucas Schaeffer of Denver, CO and Leann Adams (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Mia and Livi Adams of Clearfield; his son-in-law Denni McGuirk (Sheri); his grandson Justin McGuirk (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Addison, Aiden McGuirk of Miola, James McGuirk (Jennifer) and Zander McGuirk of Miola; and his brother-in-law Wayne Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice.
