It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Lavern Hawk Sr. (New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania), born in Widnoon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Francis and Violet Fay Hawk (Darr); his former wife Lois Evaline (Summerville); and his brother Charles Eugene Hawk. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Polliard Hawk of New Bethlehem; his children, Rodney James Hawk (C. J. Adams), Roland Lavern Hawk, Jr. (Kristi) of Port Edwards and Rhonda Jane Gandee (Mike) of Cardington; his stepdaughter Deb Rummel (Darrel) of New Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Merrick W. Gandee, Morgen Y. E. Hammons, Hunter Hawk, Brynna Hawk and Tanner Hawk; his stepgrandson Shawn Rummel; and his sisters, Betty Oss of Distant, Doris Kammerdiener of Kittanning and Shirley Reitz of Clarion. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
