He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Stahlman and Betty Collett Stahlman; his brother-in-law Chuck Miller; and his parents-in-law, Tommy and Louise Bowersox.

He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Bowersox; his siblings, Jerry Stahlman (Eula) of Alta Vista, Alan Stahlman (Mae) of New Bethlehem and Judy Miller of Frogtown; and his siblings-in-law, John Bowersox (Terri) of New Bethlehem, Robert Bowersox (Dottie) of New Bethlehem and Linda Weaver (Denny) of New Bethlehem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
