He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arthur "Art" and Nellie Armetta Buzard (Stitt). He is survived by: his wife Bernice of New Bethlehem; his children, Carl Buzard of Rimersburg and Wilma Thomas (Bob) of Warren; his grandchildren, Kristin Shick (John), Brian Thomas (Tonya), Rob Buzard, Stacey Thomas (Lance Yarger, Jr.) and Eric Thomas; his great grandchildren, Nesa Wurster (Kevin), Kayley (Elaina), Caden, Nate, Koby, Chance, Carly, Nicholas, Nicole Treadway (Mark), Taylor, Gabrielle and Brian II; his great great grandchildren, Briana and Luci; and his sister June Ritts of Sligo.
