He was predeceased by: his parents, William Homer Wiser and Martha Wiser (Hackbarth); his wife Sandra LaVay Wiser (Zabala); his grandson Ivan "Buddy" Ritchey, III; and his brothers, Jack Wiser, Merle Wiser, Bud Wiser, Richard Wiser, Kurt Wiser and Robert Wiser.
He is survived by: his children, Blake Hinderliter of DuBois, Joe Hinderliter (MaryAnn) of Kittanning, LaVay Hinderliter of New Bethlehem, Deana Wright of Clarion and Jackie Kozakovsky (Bob) of New Bethlehem; his siblings, Butch Wiser of Sligo and Kaye Heeter of Callensburg; and his sister-in-law Arlene Smith of Westminster, CA.
