He was predeceased by: his father Robert McGarrity, Sr. (Janice L. "Jan"). He is survived by: his spouse Janice L. "Jan" (Peppler); his mother Mary Jane McGarrity of New Bethlehem; his children, Angela D. Lufsey (Curt) of New Bethlehem and Joseph R. McGarrity (Carrie) of Mayport; his grandchildren, Cole Lufsey, Shea Lufsey, Makayla, Makenna, Jace and Jaxon McGarrity; and his siblings, Carol Brown of New Bethlehem, Betty Malec (Timothy) of Ford City, Laura Keen (Randy) of Fairmount City, Robert E. McGarrity, Jr. (Nell) of Renovo and Brian McGarrity (Dee) of Sligo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
