It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane (Shick) P. Shaffer of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dalin and Goldie Pearl Shick (Huffman); her husband Ray L. Shaffer; her siblings, Dora Gruver, Gussie Nulph, Elsie Dinger, Harris Shick and Robert D. Shick; her granddaughter Kayla Shreckengost; and her son-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Champion.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis R. Shaffer (Candy) of Girard, Cheryl L. Shreckengost (Rickey) of New Bethlehem and Traci R. Champion of New Bethlehem; her grandchildren, Stacy Shaffer, Kacie Shaffer, Jessica Fox, Josie Schultz and Ethan Champion; and her great grandchild Asher Schultz.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jane to the Redbank Valley Public Library at 720 Broad St. New Bethlehem, Pa. 16242 or to a charity of one's choice.
