He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his daughter Pamela Sue Hopper; his granddaughter Sydney D. Hopper; and his siblings, Harold James Hopper, Emery Hopper, Howard Hopper, Melvin Hopper, Margaret Treece, Helen McIntire, Mona Steele and Phoebe Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie L. Shick (Paul) of New Bethlehem and George Hopper (Sheena Anthony) of Oak Ridge; his granddaughter Lisa Willison (Matt) of Oak Ridge; and his great grandchildren, Brianna Shaffer (Derec), Brandon Geer (Jen), Crosby Willison and Carter Willison. He is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
