He was predeceased by: his mother Jeannette Kay Batley McCarthy (Arnold); his grandparents, Harry and Constance Batley; and his stepgrandfather Angelo DiLeonardo. He is survived by: his brother Brett Alan Batley, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Cami Noll, Haley Smith, Hunter Smith, Parker Smith, Zakary Smith and Carter Alan Batley; his stepgrandmother Mary Jo Batley of Murrysville; and his grandmother Elizabeth DiLeonardo of Coloma.
