He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvy C. Shick and Sadie Luella Shick Sr. (Dinger); his wife Connie Lee Bish; and his siblings, James Shick, Edward Shick, Wallace Shick, Alvy C Shick Jr., Fred Shick, Della Harman, Bernice Crawford and Betty Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Jobe of Lemont and Marc Shick (Brenda) of Kennerdell; his siblings, Judy Helper (Wray) of New Bethlehem and John Shick of Marion Center; his close friend Janet Shumaker of New Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Coral Metcalf (Justin) of Harrisville, Kelci McLallen (Josh) of Stoneboro, Carli Brydon (PJ) of Harrisville, Brandon Shick (Brooke) of Emlenton and Nate Jobe of Lemont; and his great grandchildren, Zack Brydon, Sydney McLallen, Eric McLallen, Harson Metcalf, Brantley Metcalf, Mackenzie McLallen, Sophia Brydon and Luca Brydon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Alcorn Funeral Home (4065 Brookville St # 28, Hawthorn, PA 16230).
