She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bright and Violet Bright (Brocious); her husband Wilbur E. "Hank" Shumaker; her son Van A. Shumaker; and her siblings, Marlene Reichard, Kay Copenhaver and George Bright.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ashley Clark of Corsica, Allison Shumaker of Punxsutawney and Dennis Sankey of Indiana; her great grandchildren, Natalie Haney and Ariana Shumaker; and her friend Dan Greeley of Brookville.
