She was predeceased by: her spouse Alexander G. Nanopoulos; her parent Antone T. Sylvia; and her sibling Tony Sylvia. She is survived by: her parent Doris Flora (Davis); her daughter Shirley G. Stergiou of Queens, NY; her siblings, John "Jack" Sylvia of New Bedford and Linda Sylvia of Attleboro; her granddaughter Alexandra Stergiou; and her sibling Arthur Sylvia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
