It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Fernandes (New Bedford, Pennsylvania), born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 15, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Antonio Fernandes; her parents, Joseph Reis and Amelia Reis (Anacleto); her sons, Steve Fernandes and Anthony Fernandes; her grandchildren, Brian and Samantha Fernandes; her sister Mariana Nunes; her child Richard Fernandes; and her siblings, John, Frank, Manuel Reis, Cacilda Sylvia, Mary Barboza, Dorothy Martin and Emily Gonsalves. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
